Be generous and hospitable towards guests; Respect their rights; Be grateful for whatever we receive from others; Accept whatever is offered in terms of hospitality.

In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was asked about how to handle hospitality when travelling. He advised that if someone offers you hospitality, then you should accept it gratefully. However, if they do not offer any hospitality then you are entitled to take what is due for a guest. This hadith teaches us the importance of being generous and hospitable towards guests as well as respecting their rights when we are guests ourselves. It also encourages us to be grateful for whatever we receive from others and not expect too much in return.
