QUICK LESSONS:
Follow what has been prescribed in Islam for prayer

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by 'Aisha and it speaks about the practice of prayer. She states that she used to hate when people would keep their hands on their flanks while praying, as this was a practice of the Jews. This suggests that Muslims should not imitate the practices of other religions when it comes to prayer, and instead should follow what has been prescribed in Islam. It is important for Muslims to remember that prayer is an act of worship and should be done with respect and reverence for Allah. Therefore, keeping one's hands on their flanks during prayer is not recommended as it does not reflect proper etiquette in worshiping Allah.
