Angels and House Decorations

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ warned against having a dog or an image in the house as angels will not enter it.

It was narrated from 'Ali bin Abu Talib that the Prophet said: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُدْرِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُجَىٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ لاَ تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلاَ صُورَةٌ
