Prohibiting Gold Rings

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad forbade wearing gold rings.

It was narrated that 'Ali said: "The Messenger of Allah forbade wearing gold rings".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، مَوْلَى عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ عَنِ التَّخَتُّمِ بِالذَّهَبِ
