SUMMARY: Wearing silk in this world will not be rewarded in the Hereafter.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter".

QUICK LESSONS:
Do good deeds and strive to please Allah
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is a warning from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about wearing silk. He said that whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter. This means that if someone wears luxurious clothing such as silk, they will not receive any reward for it when they are judged on the Day of Judgment. Instead, their focus should be on doing good deeds and pleasing Allah so that they can receive rewards for them instead of materialistic items like clothing. It is important to remember that our actions here on earth have consequences and we should strive to do what pleases Allah so we can be rewarded with Jannah in the hereafter.
