The Prophet's Black Turban

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah wearing a black turban.

It was narrated from Jabir that the Prophet entered Makkah wearing a black turban.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates the story of the Prophet entering Makkah wearing a black turban. It is said that when he entered, he was greeted by the people of Makkah and they were all in awe of his presence. He was also accompanied by his companions who were also dressed in their best attire. This hadith teaches us to always dress our best when we enter any place, especially places of worship like mosques or Ka'bah. It also teaches us to respect and honor those who are respected and honored in society such as prophets or imams.
