QUICK LESSONS:
Believe only in what Allah has told us in the Quran and what the Prophet Muhammad has taught us through his Sunnah .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that superstitions and omens are false. He said that there is no such thing as ‘Adwa, which means a contagious disease being spread through the air; no omen which means a sign of bad luck; no Hamah which means an evil bird; and no Safar which means an unlucky month. All of these things are not real and should not be believed in. We should only believe in what Allah has told us in the Quran and what the Prophet Muhammad has taught us through his Sunnah. This hadith teaches us to stay away from superstitious beliefs because they can lead to wrong actions or decisions being made based on something other than knowledge from Allah’s guidance. It also teaches us to trust only in Allah’s guidance for our lives instead of relying on superstitious beliefs or omens for our decisions.
