EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that relying upon Allah is the only way to be cured from any illness. It was narrated by 'Aqqar bin Al-Mughirah from his father that the Prophet said, "Whoever seeks treatment by cauterization or with Ruqyah then he had absolved himself of reliance upon Allah." Cauterization is a medical procedure in which a part of the body is burned with an instrument such as a hot iron rod or an electric current in order to stop bleeding and heal wounds. Ruqyah refers to reciting verses of Quran and supplications prescribed in Islam for protection and healing. The Prophet's statement implies that one should not rely solely on these treatments but rather put their trust in Allah alone for healing. This hadith encourages us to have faith in God's power over all things and reminds us that He alone can cure our illnesses if He wills it so. We should always turn towards Him when we are sick or suffering instead of relying solely on worldly remedies like medicine or treatments like cauterization and ruqyah.
