Drinking Water from a Water Skin

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad forbade drinking directly from the mouth of a water skin.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah forbade drinking (directly) from the mouth of a water skin".
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ الصَّوَّافُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ
