Prohibiting Making Nabidh in Earthenware Jars

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad forbade making Nabidh in earthenware jars.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah forbade making Nabidh in (earthenware) jars".
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْخَطْمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ أَنْ يُنْبَذَ فِي الْجِرَارِ
