Offering Food & Greeting with Salam

SUMMARY: The best aspect of Islam is to offer food to the needy and greet with salam both those you know and those you don't.

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that a man asked the Messenger of Allah : "O Messenger of Allah, which (aspect) of Islam is the best?" He said: "Offering food (to the needy) and greeting with Salam those whom you know and those whom you do not know".

QUICK LESSONS:
Offer food to the needy, Greet people with salam
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about two important aspects of being a Muslim. The first is offering food, or iftaar, to the needy. This means that Muslims should be generous and share their blessings with those who are less fortunate than them. The second aspect is greeting people with salam, which means saying “Assalamu Alaikum” or “Peace be upon you” when meeting someone new or even when seeing someone familiar. This shows respect for others and encourages peace in society. Both of these actions are important parts of being a good Muslim and can help create a better world for everyone.
