Accept your fate with patience & humility; Strive for closeness with God even in your last moments here on earth; Ask for His mercy in your final resting place near His sacred land or mosque etc..

This hadith is about Prophet Moses and his encounter with the Angel of death. The angel was sent by Allah to take Prophet Moses' life but instead he slapped him on the eye. The angel then returned back to Allah and told Him what happened. In response, Allah told him to go back and tell Prophet Moses that if he put his hand on an ox's back for every hair that comes out from it he will be granted one year of life. After this period has passed then death will come upon him. Prophet Moses accepted this offer and requested Allah that when death comes upon him let it be close to the Sacred Land so much so that he would be at a distance of a stone's throw from it. Abu Huraira added in his narration that if Muhammad were there at the time then he could show them where exactly Prophet Mosess' grave is located near a red sand hill on the side of road. This hadith teaches us about how we should accept our fate with patience and humility as well as how we should strive for closeness with God even in our last moments here on earth by asking for His mercy in our final resting place near His sacred land or mosque etc..
