QUICK LESSONS:
Respect all living creatures, Use tools carefully while hunting , Eat only humanely killed animals .

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad is teaching Adi bin Hatim about hunting with a tool called a mirad. A mirad is a type of spear that can be used for hunting animals. The Prophet said that if an animal was struck by the sharp edge of the mirad, then it could be eaten, but if it was struck by its side then it had been killed by a violent blow and should not be eaten. This teaches us that we should only eat animals that have been killed in a humane way and not those who have suffered from violence or cruelty. It also teaches us to respect all living creatures and take care when using tools like spears for hunting so as not to cause unnecessary suffering or death.
