Humility and Repentance

SUMMARY: The hadith is about how the people of Israel changed the word "repentance" to "a wheat grain in the hair" when entering a town.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "It was said to Bani Israel, Enter the gate (of the town) with humility (prostrating yourselves) and saying: "Repentance", but they changed the word and entered the town crawling on their buttocks and saying: "A wheat grain in the hair".

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow instructions given by Allah or His Messenger faithfully and with humility

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how the people of Israel were instructed to enter a town with humility and repentance, but instead they entered crawling on their buttocks while saying “A wheat grain in the hair”. This teaches us that we should always be humble and repentant when entering any place, as it shows respect for others. We should also be careful not to change words or instructions given by Allah or His Messenger, as this can lead us astray from our faith. Instead, we should strive to follow them faithfully and with humility.
