Eat only food blessed with the name of God.

This hadith is about eating food that has been blessed with the name of Allah. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, who said that people used to say that whatever food was mentioned by the name of Allah should not be eaten, and whatever was not mentioned by His name could be eaten. Then, God revealed this verse in the Quran which states "Eat not of that over which Allah's Name has not been pronounced." This means we should only eat food which has been blessed with the name of God and refrain from eating anything else. We should remember to thank God for all our blessings and show gratitude for His mercy upon us.
