Show compassion and empathy towards others even if they are not our close friends or family members. Be grateful for what we have and do not take it for granted as it can easily be taken away from us at any moment.

This hadith teaches us that we should not be happy or celebrate when someone else is facing misfortune. It was narrated by Abu Huraira from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who said “There is no Farah and no 'Atirah” which means there should be no joy or celebration in the face of someone else’s misfortune. We must remember to show compassion and empathy towards others even if they are not our close friends or family members. We must also remember to be grateful for what we have and not take it for granted as it can easily be taken away from us at any moment.
