Sharing Meat from Slaughtered Camels

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ordered that a piece of meat from every slaughtered camel be placed in a pot and shared among the people.

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah ordered that a piece from every camel that had been slaughtered be brought and placed in a pot, then they ate from its meat and drank some of the broth.
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ أَمَرَ مِنْ كُلِّ جَزُورٍ بِبَضْعَةٍ فَجُعِلَتْ فِي قِدْرٍ فَأَكَلُوا مِنَ اللَّحْمِ وَحَسَوْا مِنَ الْمَرَقِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's teachings on sharing and generosity. He ordered that when camels were slaughtered, a piece of meat should be taken from each one and put into a pot. Then, everyone could eat some of the meat and drink some of the broth. This teaches us to share what we have with others, even if it is not much. We should also remember to be generous with our resources so that everyone can benefit from them.
