Sahih al-Bukhari 3398 (Book 60, Hadith 71) #3249
The Day of Resurrection and Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) will be the first to regain consciousness and he will see Moses holding one of the pillars of Allah's Throne.

Narrated Abu Sa'id: The Prophet said, 'People will be struck unconscious on the Day of Resurrection and I will be the first to regain consciousness, and behold! There I will see Moses holding one of the pillars of Allah's Throne. I will wonder whether he has become conscious before me of he has been exempted, because of his unconsciousness at the Tur (mountain) which he received (on the earth).

QUICK LESSONS:
Have faith in God, Follow Prophets footsteps, Strive for excellence

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the events that will take place on the day of resurrection. It is narrated by Abu Sa'id that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that people will be struck unconscious on this day and he himself would be the first to regain consciousness. He further said that he would see Moses holding one of the pillars of Allah's throne. This shows us how important it is for us to have faith in Allah and His teachings as only those who believe in Him can gain consciousness on this day while others remain unconscious. We should also strive to follow in Prophet Muhammad's footsteps so we can attain his level or even higher than him when it comes to faithfulness towards Allah.
