QUICK LESSONS:
Make sacrifices for Allah’s sake .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions offering sacrifices of camels and cows at a place called Al-Hudaibiyah. Qurbani, which means sacrifice in Arabic, is an important part of Islamic tradition. It is done to remember the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail for Allah's sake. At Al-Hudaibiyah, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions offered seven camels as a sacrifice on behalf of seven people, as well as one cow on behalf of seven people. This hadith teaches us that we should always be willing to make sacrifices for Allah's sake, no matter how difficult it may seem. We should also remember that our actions have consequences; if we are willing to make sacrifices for Allah's sake then He will reward us in this life and the hereafter.
