Punishment for Wishing Bad Upon the People of Al-Madinah

SUMMARY: Whoever wishes bad upon the people of Al-Madinah will be punished by Allah.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever wishes bad upon the people of Al-Madinah, Allah will cause him to melt as salt melts in water".

QUICK LESSONS:
Think positively about others, Do good deeds

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Allah will punish those who wish bad upon the people of Al-Madinah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that whoever does this will be punished by Allah and their punishment will be like salt melting in water. This means that they will suffer a great punishment and it won't stop until it has been completely fulfilled. It teaches us to always think positively about others and not to wish bad upon them as we don't know what kind of punishment Allah may have in store for us if we do so. We should also remember that our actions have consequences and we should strive to do good deeds instead of bad ones so that we can receive blessings from Allah instead of punishments.
