Stoning of Pillars and Praying Zuhr

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to stone the Pillars when the sun had passed its zenith and then pray Zuhr.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah used to stone the Pillars when the sun had passed its zenith, to the extent that, as soon as he finished stoning them, he would pray Zuhr.
حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ أَبُو شَيْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ كَانَ يَرْمِي الْجِمَارَ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ قَدْرَ مَا إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ رَمْيِهِ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of stoning the pillars when the sun had passed its zenith. After he finished stoning them, he would then pray his Zuhr prayer.
