Prayer with Iqamah

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) prayed Maghrib at Muzdalifah and instructed that prayer should be done with Iqamah.

It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah, from Salim, from his father, that the Prophet prayed Maghrib at Muzdalifah. When we halted he said: "Prayer should be done with Iqamah".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحْرِزُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَلَمَّا أَنَخْنَا قَالَ ‏ "‏ الصَّلاَةُ بِإِقَامَةٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prayer and how it should be done. It was narrated by 'Ubaidullah, from Salim, from his father that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prayed Maghrib at Muzdalifah and instructed that prayer should be done with Iqamah. This means that when praying one must stand up straight and recite the words of Allah in a loud voice so everyone can hear it clearly. Additionally, one must also make sure to perform all the necessary actions such as bowing down and prostrating correctly while reciting the words of Allah in order to gain maximum benefit from their prayers. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about being mindful of our surroundings when we pray; for example, we should not pray in a place where there are distractions or people who may disturb us during our prayers. Lastly, this hadith reminds us to always strive for excellence in our worship by making sure we are properly prepared before beginning our prayers so as to ensure they are performed correctly according to Islamic teachings.
