This hadith is about the practice of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, to perform a pilgrimage known as an ‘Umrah during the month of Dhul Qa’dah. An ‘Umrah is a pilgrimage to Mecca that Muslims can do at any time throughout the year. However, it was narrated by Aishah that the Prophet Muhammad only performed this pilgrimage during this particular month.
