Follow instructions given by Allah's Messenger; be mindful of our actions even in seemingly insignificant tasks such as taking or feeding animals.

This hadith tells us about an incident that happened when the Prophet Muhammad and his companions were travelling to the land of Thamud called Al-Hijr. When they arrived there, they took water from its well for drinking and kneading dough with it. However, upon hearing this news, the Prophet ordered them to pour out all of the water they had taken from its wells and feed their camels with the dough instead. He then instructed them to take water only from a specific well where Prophet Salih's she-camel used to drink. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of our actions even in small matters such as taking water or feeding animals; we should always follow instructions given by Allah's Messenger as he knows best what is right for us.
