Performing Tawaf on a Camel During the Farewell Pilgrimage

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) performed Tawaf on a camel during the Farewell Pilgrimage, touching the corner with a staff.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet performed Tawaf on a camel during the Farewell Pilgrimage, touching the corner with a staff.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ طَافَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ يَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَ بِمِحْجَنٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about Prophet Muhammad's performance of tawaf during his farewell pilgrimage. Tawaf is an Islamic ritual in which one circles around the Kaaba seven times in an anti-clockwise direction. In this hadith, it was narrated that Prophet Muhammad performed tawaf on a camel while touching each corner with a staff. This act symbolizes respect and reverence for Allah and His House, as well as humility and submission to Him.
