Entering and Leaving Makkah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) used to enter and leave Makkah from different mountain passes.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah used to enter Makkah from the upper mountain pass and when he left, he would leave from the lower mountain pass.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ كَانَ يَدْخُلُ مَكَّةَ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ الْعُلْيَا وَإِذَا خَرَجَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ السُّفْلَى

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Umar states that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to enter the city of Makkah from the upper mountain pass and when he left, he would leave from the lower mountain pass. This hadith teaches us that it is important to be mindful of our actions and take different paths in life. It also shows us how we should respect places of worship by entering them with humility and leaving them with reverence. Furthermore, this hadith encourages us to be mindful of our environment as we go about our daily lives. We should strive to make sure that we are not causing any harm or disruption in any way as we move through different places.
