Obligation of Non-Combatant Jihad for Women

SUMMARY: Jihad is obligatory for women, but it does not involve fighting. Instead, they should perform Hajj and Umrah.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, is Jihad obligatory for women?’ He said: "Yes: Upon them is a Jihad in which there is no fighting: Al-Hajj and Al-'Umrah".

QUICK LESSONS:
Perform Hajj and Umrah as part of a non-combatant jihad for women

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that women are obligated to perform a type of jihad that does not involve fighting. Instead, they should fulfill their religious duties by performing the rituals of Hajj and Umrah. The two pilgrimages are important Islamic practices that involve traveling to Makkah and performing certain rituals in order to gain spiritual rewards from Allah. By fulfilling these obligations, women can demonstrate their faith in Allah and gain His blessings in return. This hadith also teaches us the importance of fulfilling our religious duties as Muslims regardless of gender or age.
