QUICK LESSONS:
Stay until you have completed your task, even if it takes longer than expected.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how to distribute spoils from a war. It was narrated by 'Ubadah bin Samit that the Prophet (ﷺ) awarded one quarter of the spoils to those who attacked the enemy at the beginning and one third to those who attacked at the end. This means that those who fought first were given a smaller portion than those who fought last, which shows that it is important for people to stay until they have completed their task, even if it takes longer than expected. It also teaches us that we should be fair when distributing resources or rewards among people, as everyone should get what they deserve based on their efforts and contributions.
