The Value of Fighting for Allah's Cause

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) valued the act of sending off a warrior who is fighting in the cause of Allah and guarding his goods more than anything else in this world.

It was narrated from Sahl bin Mu’adh bin Anas, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah said: "For me to hive a good send-off to a warrior who is going to fight in the cause of Allah, and to guard his goods when he goes out in the morning or evening, is dearer to me than this world and everything in it".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of striving for Allah’s cause and how it is more valuable than anything else in this world. It was narrated by Sahl bin Muadh bin Anas, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah said “For me to give a good send-off to a warrior who is going to fight in the cause of Allah, and to guard his goods when he goes out in the morning or evening, is dearer to me than this world and everything in it.” This hadith emphasizes that those who strive for Allah’s mission are highly valued by Him and should be respected by us as well. It also teaches us that we should prioritize our faith over worldly possessions as they are not as important as we think they are. We should strive hard for what matters most - pleasing our Creator - instead of chasing after materialistic things which will eventually fade away with time.
