Rewards for Good Deeds

SUMMARY: Doing good deeds in the cause of Allah will be rewarded on the Day of Resurrection.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever goes out in the cause of Allah will have the equivalent of the dust that got on him, in musk, on the Day of Resurrection".

QUICK LESSONS:
Do good deeds in the cause of Allah.

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Anas bin Malik states that whoever does good deeds in the cause of Allah will be rewarded on the Day of Resurrection. This means that all our efforts and hard work to do what is right and just will not go unnoticed, as Allah is aware and appreciative of our efforts. On the Day of Judgment, we will receive a reward for all our good deeds, which may come in many forms such as forgiveness or even musk - a sweet smelling perfume - as mentioned in this hadith. This teaches us to always strive to do what is right and just, no matter how small it may seem because it can have great rewards from Allah on the day we are judged.
