Inheritance and Religion

SUMMARY: Inheritance is not shared between people of different religions.

It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu’aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah said: "People of two different religions do not inherit from one another".

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect other's religious beliefs , Keep one's faith intact within a family or group , Not mix one's own religious belief with others'.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that inheritance should not be shared between people of two different religions. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that inheritance should only be shared among those who share the same religion. This is because it is important to keep the religious beliefs and practices within a family or group intact, as this helps to ensure that everyone follows the same faith and practices it in the same way. It also helps to prevent any confusion or conflict between members of different faiths when it comes to matters such as inheritance. In addition, this hadith teaches us about respect for other religions and their beliefs; even though we may not agree with them, we should still show respect for them and their followers by not mixing our own religious beliefs with theirs when it comes to matters such as inheritance.
