Rights and Inheritance

SUMMARY: Allah has given everyone their rights, but there is no inheritance for an heir.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "I was under the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah and its saliva was dripping between my shoulders, and I heard him say: 'Allah (SWT) has given each person who has rights his rights, but there is no bequest for an heir".

QUICK LESSONS:
Give people their due rights , Pay off debts before passing away .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of giving people their rights and not leaving any inheritance for an heir. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was teaching that Allah has given each person who has rights his or her due, but there should be no bequest left to an heir. This means that when a person passes away, they should not leave anything behind to their heirs as a gift or inheritance; instead, they should make sure that all of their debts are paid off and all of the people who have a right to something from them are given what they deserve first before anything else is done with the remaining possessions. This hadith teaches us about fairness and justice in our dealings with others; it also reminds us to take care of our obligations before we pass away so that our loved ones do not have to worry about them after we are gone.
