QUICK LESSONS:
Have an up-to-date valid Will

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from Anas bin Malik emphasizes the importance of having a will. It teaches us that those who do not have a will are deprived, and this deprivation can be avoided by making sure to create and maintain an up-to-date will. A will is an important document that outlines how you would like your assets to be distributed after you pass away, and it can help ensure that your wishes are respected even after you are gone. It is important for everyone to make sure they have a valid and updated will in order to protect their loved ones from any potential disputes or confusion over their estate after they pass away.

Having a valid and up-to-date will also helps ensure that your assets are distributed according to your wishes, rather than being subject to the laws of inheritance in Islam or other legal systems which may not reflect what you would want for yourself or your family members. By creating a valid and updated will, we can make sure our loved ones receive what we intended them to receive when we pass away.
