QUICK LESSONS:
Respect holy places, Follow Islamic teachings & beliefs

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet's disapproval of divination by arrows, which was practiced by some people at that time. The Prophet saw pictures in the Ka’ba depicting Abraham and Ishmael carrying arrows of divination and he cursed those who practiced it, saying that neither Abraham nor Ishmael ever did such a thing. He then ordered for these pictures to be erased from the walls of the Ka’ba. This hadith teaches us that we should not practice any form of divination or superstition as it goes against Islamic teachings and beliefs. We should also respect our holy places like mosques and not draw any kind of images on their walls or floors as this is considered disrespectful according to Islamic teachings.
