Treat everyone equally regardless of their social status or position in society; Do not take advantage of your power over others; Do not use your power to harm others; Respect other people's rights; Follow justice when punishing someone; Show compassion towards those weaker than you.

This hadith is about the punishment given to a man who killed his slave deliberately and with malice aforethought. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH gave this man one hundred lashes as punishment, banished him for one year, and cancelled his share from among the Muslims. This hadith teaches us that killing someone deliberately is wrong and that it should be punished accordingly. It also teaches us that we should not take advantage of our power over others or use it to harm them in any way. We should treat everyone equally regardless of their social status or position in society.
