Show mercy and compassion towards those who have committed wrong acts according to Islamic teachings

This hadith is about the punishment of fornication in Islam. According to this hadith, a woman came to the Prophet and confessed to committing fornication. As a result, she was stoned as punishment and then the Prophet offered her funeral prayer. This shows that even though there is a severe punishment for such an act, it is still important to show mercy and compassion towards those who have committed it by offering them funeral prayers after their death.
