Selling a Mudabbar

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sold a Mudabbar.

It was narrated from Jabir that: the Messenger of Allah sold a Mudabbar.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذ بَاعَ الْمُدَبَّرَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) transaction of selling a mudabbar. A mudabbar is an animal that has been trained and tamed for riding or other purposes. In this hadith, it was narrated by Jabir that the Messenger of Allah sold such an animal. This hadith teaches us the importance of transactions and exchanges in our lives as Muslims and how we should conduct them with honesty and integrity. It also shows us how even the Prophet himself engaged in such activities to provide for his family and community.
