The Right to Access Water, Pasture and Fire

SUMMARY: Everyone has the right to access water, pasture and fire.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Three things cannot be denied to anyone: water, pasture and fire".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ ثَلاَثٌ لاَ يُمْنَعْنَ الْمَاءُ وَالْكَلأُ وَالنَّارُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Abu Hurairah and it states that everyone has the right to access three basic necessities of life which are water, pasture and fire. Water is essential for drinking, cleaning and other activities. Pasture is necessary for animals such as cows or sheep in order to feed them. Fire can be used for cooking food or keeping warm during cold weather. This hadith teaches us that everyone should have access to these three basic necessities of life regardless of their social status or financial situation. It also reminds us that we should not deny anyone from accessing these resources as they are essential for survival.
