Cultivating Land Without Permission

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that one should not cultivate someone else's land without their permission, but should be compensated for any expenses incurred.

It was narrated that Rafi' bin Khadij said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever cultivates people's land without their permission, he has no right to any produce, but he should be recompensed for his expenditure'. "

QUICK LESSONS:
Ask permission before cultivating someone else’s land

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that it is wrong to cultivate someone else's land without their permission. If we do so, we are not entitled to any of the produce from the land, but we must be compensated for our expenditure. This hadith emphasizes the importance of respecting other people's property and rights and reminds us that if we use someone else's resources, then it is only fair to compensate them for it. It also teaches us about justice and fairness in dealing with others.
