Cultivating Land Instead of Renting It Out

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad advised people to cultivate their land or allow someone else to cultivate it, instead of renting it out.

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah addressed us and said: 'Whoever has land, let him cultivate it or allow someone else to cultivate it, and not rent it out'. "

QUICK LESSONS:
Take care of your possessions, Allow others access if needed , Work hard and make use of resources .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad was advising people to take care of their land and not rent it out. He wanted them to either cultivate the land themselves or allow someone else to do so. This hadith teaches us that we should be responsible for our possessions and take care of them, rather than just renting them out for money. We should also be generous with our possessions and help others by allowing them access to use our resources if they need it. This hadith also encourages us to work hard and make use of the resources we have been given in order to benefit ourselves as well as others around us.
