Give equally and fairly without showing favoritism towards one child over another .

This hadith is about the importance of equality and fairness when it comes to giving gifts. It was narrated from Nu'man bin Bashir that his father gave him a gift of a slave, and he came to the Prophet so that he could witness the gift. The Prophet asked if he had given something to all of his children, and when the father said no, the Prophet advised him to take back his gift.
