Earning Money and Children

SUMMARY: Earning money is the best form of provision and children are part of that.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah said: "The best of your provision is what you earn, and your children are part of what you earn".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ أَطْيَبَ مَا أَكَلْتُمْ مِنْ كَسْبِكُمْ وَإِنَّ أَوْلاَدَكُمْ مِنْ كَسْبِكُمْ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that earning money is the best form of provision for ourselves and our families. He also taught us that our children are part of what we earn, meaning they should be taken care of with whatever we have earned. This hadith encourages us to work hard to provide for ourselves and our families, as well as to take responsibility for our children's wellbeing. It also teaches us the importance of taking care of those who depend on us, such as our children or other family members.
