Contractual Obligations and Time Limits

SUMMARY: There is no contractual obligation after four days.

It was narrated from 'Uqbah bin 'Amir that the Messenger of Allah said: "There is no contractual obligation after four (days)".
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ عُهْدَةَ بَعْدَ أَرْبَعٍ
