Be honest and truthful with your customers while conducting business transactions . Measure accurately what you are selling .

This hadith emphasizes the importance of honesty and truthfulness when conducting business transactions. It was narrated by Uthman bin Affan that he used to sell dates in the marketplace and would name a certain amount for it when he bought it. He would then give the purchaser a specific amount of dates according to how it was measured for him and take his profit. However, Uthman began to have doubts about this practice so he asked the Messenger of Allah who said that when you name an amount you should measure it in front of the purchaser. This hadith teaches us that we should be honest and truthful with our customers even if we are taking a profit from them as this will ensure trust between both parties involved in any transaction. We should also make sure that what we are selling is accurate so as not to deceive our customers or take advantage of them financially.
