QUICK LESSONS:
Avoid taking oaths when selling .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abu Qatadah warns against swearing oaths when selling. This is because although it may help to make a sale, it will ultimately destroy the blessing that comes with it. Taking an oath is a serious matter and should not be done lightly or for selfish gain. It is important to remember that Allah knows all and sees all, so we must always strive to do what is right and just in our dealings with others. We must also remember that our actions have consequences, both good and bad, so we must take care in how we conduct ourselves in business transactions. By avoiding taking oaths when selling, we can ensure that our blessings remain intact and reap the rewards of doing what is right in the eyes of Allah.
