Forgiveness Through Cancelling Transactions

SUMMARY: Allah will forgive the sins of those who agree to cancel a transaction with a Muslim.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever agrees with a Muslim to cancel a transaction Allah will forgive his sins on the Day of Resurrection".
حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَبُو الْخَطَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ سُعَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ مَنْ أَقَالَ مُسْلِمًا أَقَالَهُ اللَّهُ عَثْرَتَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

This hadith teaches us that if we agree to cancel a transaction with another Muslim, Allah will forgive our sins on the Day of Resurrection.
