This hadith is about how Prophet Muhammad PBUH conducted his transactions with people. He was known to be fair and honest in all his dealings and this hadith is an example of that. In this particular instance, he bought some fodder from a Bedouin man and after completing the transaction, he gave him an option to cancel it if he wanted to. The Bedouin was so impressed by this gesture that he blessed him with long life full of good transactions.
