Prohibiting the Practice of Najsh

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ forbade the practice of Najsh.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that : the Prophet forbade the Najsh.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُصْعَبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيِّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُذَافَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ نَهَى عَنِ النَّجْشِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet's prohibition of a certain practice known as najash. It was narrated by Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet forbade this practice. This hadith teaches us that we should always follow and abide by what Allah and His Messenger have commanded us to do. We should not engage in any practices or activities which are forbidden or prohibited in Islam as it can lead to severe consequences both in this world and in the hereafter. Furthermore, it also teaches us to be mindful of our actions and words as they can have a great impact on our lives both now and later on.
