Sahih al-Bukhari 318 (Book 6, Hadith 23) #315
The Angel of Every Womb

SUMMARY: Allah appoints an angel to every womb who asks questions about the child's gender, fate, provision and age before it is born.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, "At every womb Allah appoints an angel who says, 'O Lord! A drop of semen, O Lord! A clot. O Lord! A little lump of flesh". Then if Allah wishes (to complete) its creation, the angel asks, (O Lord!) Will it be a male or female, a wretched or a blessed, and how much will his provision be? And what will his age be?' So all that is written while the child is still in the mother's womb".

QUICK LESSONS:
Have faith in Allah's plan for you; do good deeds; trust His decisions; believe that everything has already been predetermined by Him; focus on doing righteous acts instead of worrying too much about your future; accept whatever comes your way with patience and gratitude towards God Almighty .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that Allah appoints an angel to every womb when a baby is conceived. This angel asks questions about the baby's gender, fate, provision and age before it is born. It implies that all these things are predetermined by Allah and He knows what will happen in the future even before it happens. It also teaches us that we should have faith in Allah's plan for us as He knows best what is good for us. We should not worry too much about our future as everything has already been decided by Him. We should instead focus on doing good deeds so that we can be blessed with His mercy and grace in this life and the hereafter.
