EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught about the amount of charity that should be given for crops that are irrigated by rain or springs, and those that are irrigated by watering. For crops watered from the sky, such as rain or springs, one-tenth of the crop should be given in charity. For crops watered through irrigation systems, one half of one-tenth should be given in charity. This hadith teaches us to give a portion of our wealth to those who need it most and reminds us to always think about others before ourselves. It also encourages us to use our resources wisely and not waste them on unnecessary things.
